
Congratulations to Sherry Giordano, ITWomen Executive Director, who has been named an Advisory Board Champion by the National Academy Foundation based on her outstanding contributions to the AOIT Advisory Board in Miami.
Sherry was honored at the NAF Leadership Summit in San Francisco, July 15th. Nominated by Cindy Thienard, Lead Teacher, at Miami Central High School, Ms. Giordano joins three business Champions from the other NAF themes in receiving this award.
Victoria Usherenko, President ITWomen, said, “ITWomen is proud to have been one of the first participants on the AOIT Board, and Sherry’s work reflects our commitment not only to the Miami AOIT students but for the meaningful impact the NAF program brings through career-themed academies.”
